Call for 5 new members of the Pool of Trainers of CYC
Cyprus Youth Council announces call for 5 new members of the Pool of Trainers of CYC. Those who are interested please send your CV and the application form attached to the email address [email protected] until Sunday, 5 April 2015.
The Pool of Trainers of CYC is mainly comprised by trainers from CYC member organizations. The team’s methods in informal education which are implemented by non governmental youth organizations. The trainers work with issues of volunteerism, youth empowerment, peace, cross-cultural learning, human rights, environment, ecology, diversity, antiracism, creativity and social integration.
1. What does the Pool of Trainers do?
• Develops trainings of competences in several topics related with youth
• Facilitates youth events, seminars and conferences
• Offers consultancy in youth matters in accordance with their competences
• Follows closely and contributes to the development of programs and policies of youth trainings in Cyprus
• Contributes to the promotion and recognition of Non Formal Education in Cyprus.
2. Trainers profile
• They are active in youth work for at least 2 years.
• They have organised at least 1 training for trainers
• They have experience in Non Formal Education methods
• They have written recommendation letter from a youth NGO member of Cyprus Youth Council
