Duties 
Horizontal support for the work of the thematic commissions:
 
Coordination of thematic and opinion planning for the Directorate (annual calendar, annual work programmes, thematic planning, opinion planning, etc.),
Monitoring of inter-institutional relations (European Commission, EU Presidencies, European Parliament, etc.),
Management of the processes and procedures related to the work of the commissions in accordance with the CoR regulatory framework,
Follow-up of administrative and financial affairs of relevance to the Directorate (including proceedings of the CoR’s Commission for Administrative and Financial Affairs)
Coordination of the input of the Directorate to IT projects.
Coordination of the preparation of horizontal documents within the Directorate:
Compilation of documents (briefings, background documents, reports) requested by the President and/or the Secretary General, in cooperation with the thematic units and other Directorates (where relevant),
Compilation of draft CoR Resolutions of a horizontal nature.
Organisation: coordinating the annual administrative reporting exercises of the Directorate:
Impact Report
Management Plan and Rolling Action Plan
Activity Report
Ex-post exercise and audit 
Qualifications and skills required 
Good understanding of the internal organisation of the CoR and its regulatory framework;
Ability to manage autonomously a diverse portfolio of administrative tasks and communicate efficiently within the Directorate and outside;
Good drafting skills and experience in preparing administrative planning / reporting documents;
Good political skills and experience in the frame of an institution;
Good team player, communicative and client-oriented personality;
Very good organisation and prioritisation skills;
Thorough knowledge of one official language of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge of another official language of the EU. For functional reasons, a good knowledge of English is required, a good knowledge of French is considered as an asset;
Knowledge and/or experience of the procedures related to the CoR legislative works will be considered as an asset.
