EMAS – The Eco-Management and Audit Scheme of DG Environment – has now opened applications for the EMAS awards. Deadline to apply is 30 January 2015. Registered organisations can send their application and competent bodies can nominate private and public organisations for the awards. The application form and further information regarding eligibility and evaluation are now available. The awards were created to establish a platform facilitating dialogue between key stakeholders and as an opportunity for EMAS registered organisations to share and promote their best practices.
