How can we make an opportunity for learning mobility a reality for everyone?

This is the question the new citizens panel is invited to answer. The European Commission is asking 150 randomly selected citizens from the 27 Member States for help in making learning mobility in the EU more accessible to any learner, educator or trainer. Although transnational learning activities have proven to be highly valuable experiences for people, too few citizens actually benefit from them due to multiple constraints.
Citizens’ recommendations coming out the deliberations will support the upcoming Commission’s initiative on the identification of all obstacles to learning mobility and measures to be undertaken at different levels to overcome them. The citizens panel is part of a broader consultation strategy, which aims at gathering opinions and proposals of all interested parties and stakeholders in the framework of the public consultation currently underway until 3 May 2023.
The launching session of the panel is taking place from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 March in Brussels. The plenary debates will be web streamed on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning. Find out more: https://citizens.ec.europa.eu/index_en
